Designing and Manufacturing
Founded in 1989, Oroville Plastics (OROPLAS) counts Verifone® as its major customer. During the past decade Oroville Plastics has designed or assisted in the design and development of all VeriFone acrylic stackers including all those displayed in the product section of this site. In many other cases, at the request of VeriFone, Oroville Plastics has designed transaction and printer stands for major VeriFone customers including the US postal Service. Several of these stands are displayed in the Products section. Oroville Plastics continues to manufacture and design for these customers.

Unique Requirements
Typically a sales engineer, account manager, or end-user will contact Oroville Plastics describing the particular and unique requirements involving a new or existent terminal. In many cases a "no-charge" prototype is shipped within 48-72 hours. Modifications can then be discussed with both parties having an actual unit in hand.

Oroville Plastics will design and drop test all packaging materials associated with new units.

Location, Location, Location
High in the Sierra foothills Oroville Plastics is located next to the second largest lake in California. Beautiful Lake Oroville is a mecca for houseboating, skiing, bassfishing among other popular water sports. The Oroville Plastics complex is surrounded by citrus, olive, nut, and other fruit trees. It is visited by wild turkeys, fox, deer, and an occasional mountain lion.

The company is primarily a family operation with all suppliers living near the manufacturing plant. The plant population includes a miniature horse, a Welsh pony, pot-belly pig, birds, and a koi pond.
